How to prevent glue leakage in injection molding production?

It is a very bad thing that the machine leaks glue in the injection molding production process! It not only causes equipment damage, but also affects the timely delivery of products, and the maintenance work is also very hard.

How to prevent glue leakage during injection molding production?

1. The injection molding technician and the mold loader shall inspect the machine every 2 hours, inspect the machine one by one according to the contents of the (Technician Patrol Table), and use the flashlight to look at the position of the machine nozzle to see if there is glue leakage.

This patrol action shall be used as a performance reward and punishment system, which shall be enforced by technicians or model operators. Now there are auxiliary equipment for detecting glue leakage in the industry, which will make the work of technicians easier if the factory has the conditions to install it.

2. Before each mold installation, check whether the R radian of the injection mold nozzle and the machine table nozzle are consistent, and whether the pump nozzle and the nozzle have intaglio printing and chipping. If yes, the mold can be installed only after the drilling machine is turned. Many technicians in small factories like to grind it down with a grinder, which is not allowed!

3. After each production order is completed, the end piece management shall be carried out to confirm whether the positioning ring is in good condition and whether it is suitable for matching with the machine. Injection molding didn’t work on the nozzle! After many illegal operations, the mouth movement was added.

4. Frequently check whether the forward moving pressure of the shooting platform is enough, and check whether the oil seal of the shooting pedestal moving oil cylinder is leaking or damaged. Check whether the nozzle and flange hole of the shooting table and the center point of the thimble are in the same line on time. It is not allowed to adjust the balanced screws of the shooting table without permission.

5. The nozzle temperature and hot runner temperature are set too high, causing leakage. If the forward moving pressure of the shooting table is set too low, the forward moving time of the shooting table is set improperly, and the positioning of the plastic injection card for the forward moving of the shooting table is set improperly, glue leakage will occur.

6. The nozzle and flange are not tightened with the barrel, or the fitting is not sealed, causing the glue to leak out from the gap.

7. When loading the mold, make sure that the nozzle of the mold is located at the center line of the machine table, and tighten enough die sizes (8 for 400T, 12 for 450T~650T, 16 for 800T~1200T, and 16 for 1200T~1600T) to prevent the mold from slipping during production and causing glue leakage.
